Randy Davis is a 2023 LHP/1B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Deatsville, AL who attends Edgewood Academy. Lanky frame with an athletic build. Projectable body type. Ran a 7.57 second sixty yard dash. Primary Lefthanded pitcher, worked exclusively from thirdbase side of rubber from both the windup and stretch, quick leg lift and then slows down sitting into back leg, over the top arm action with a long, smooth arm action, stays balanced throughout motion and uses frame to gain ground on mound, fastball sitting in mid to upper-70's with late arm side run, changeup in the mid-60's that dove late and looked like a fastball out of hand, curveball flashed 12-6 movement in the low-60's. Secondary first basemen, flashed a very strong glove with a great instincts, works through the baseball and shuffles into release, throws on the money as well. Lefthanded hitter, relaxed stance that is balanced, smooth swinging lefty who gets the barrel moving creating some loud pop. Good student.
