2019 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Gavin Fragale is a 2021 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Cornelius, NC who attends Southlake Christian Academy. Gavin is a broad shouldered, physically defined athlete, who shows quick, smooth, and coordinated movement. He ran a solid 7.25 60-yard dash. On the IF, Gavin's skill level is impressive. His footwork is sure. His hands are very clean and his glove plays well above average. His 81-mph throwing velocity and quick trigger allow for all his throws to show carry and accuracy. At the plate, Gavin uses a wide base and a lower profile. He has a line drive approach and shorter, more direct and compact swing plane. Lastly, Gavin is a top level student.
