Quinten Masciarelli is a 2018 SS with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Myrtle Beach, SC who attends Socastee HS. Recorded a 6.65 60-yard dash. Medium frame with wiry present strength and a ton of room left for physical projection. Very athletic and twitchy. Arm strength is sound and played the field aggressively at shortstop, his primary position; athletic actions there as well. Contact oriented approach at the plate with the ability to generate line drives to all fields. Simple mechanics with a simple, line drive approach. Hand speed played well and allowed him to whip the bat through the hitting zone. Showed a good two-strike approach in game with the ability to go to the opposite field on outside pitches. Outstanding student.
