Dillon Weidler is a 2018 OF/UT with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Modesto, CA who attends Fred C. Beyer. Medium frame with a long, lean build. Projects for additional strength and size. Ran a 7.34 sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder, deliberate actions while closing to baseball. Clean glove actions with a two handed funnel. Clean glove to hand exchanges while working through transition. Gains momentum to the bag with a crow hop lower half into release. Throws produces uphill, accurate carry to the bag topping at 74 mph. Right handed hitter with an upright, balanced stance and leg lift trigger. Barrel launches to contact on an extended path, creates a naturally lifted plane through extension. Shows present bat speed and strength at contact to split the gaps with solid carry. Consistently produced loud contact off the barrel when front side what on time and balanced. Good student as well.
