Peyton Sutherland is a 2021 SS/RHP, OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Allen, TX who attends Allen HS. Athletic frame with good size and projects very well physically, especially for a younger player. Primary shortstop with deliberate actions and present athleticism that shines at the position. Advanced footwork and gets behind throws well with clean and quick hands. Transfers well and has advanced feel for the position. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a belt high leg lift and a higher three-quarter arm slot. Consistently worked to the bottom half of the strike zone and showed good athleticism in repeating his delivery. Curveball has good depth to it. Righthanded hitter with a spread open stance. Turns well on the inside and flashed bat speed through the point of contact at extension. Even planed swing and did a good job at creating line drive contact to the pull side. Excellent student.
