Chris Corchado is a 2021 1B/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Manalapan, NJ who attends Freehold Twp. Recorded a 7.38 second sixty-yard dash time. Strong, physical build with well-proportioned strength throughout. Primary first baseman with deliberate fielding actions but enough athleticism to field cleanly and make fairly quick turns. Well-engaged lower half during and into the throwing process, recording accurate throws up to 81 mph across the diamond in drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an even bases stance with a high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Aggressive approach with present bat speed and strength in his hands through contact. Mostly middle to pull-side impact with barrel accuracy and real power potential with low line drive launch. Consistent bat-to-ball skills with the propensity to find the barrel in game action.
