Erick Zeron is a 2018 RHP/MIF with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Cypress Lakes HS. Has a young frame, lean build, and plenty of room to fill out physically as he continues to put on additional muscle and mature physically. Posted a 7.57 second sixty yard dash. On the mound, has a higher tempo to his delivery with good rhythm. Throws form a high three-quarters to over the top arm slot with long arm action and a big arm circle through the back. Arm stays quick and loose throughout, gets quality extension out front on a downhill plane. Changeup has fading action, curveball showed good depth and shape. From the infield, showed good hands and made accurate throws. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a spread base, open stance, and low hand set. Showed natural lift through the pony of contact with an aggressive approach to the baseball. Excellent student.
