Cade Kleckner is a 2018 OF/ with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Colorado Springs, CO who attends Pine Creek. Compact frame with a lean, athletic build. Projects for additional size with strength. Ran a 6.65 sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with smooth, deliberate footwork while closing to the baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling and works through transfer with quick exchanges. Medium arm circle at separation and released from a three-quarters arm slot. Throws produced accurate, on line carry topping at 75 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a crouched, even stance and simple leg lift trigger. Direct, simple path to contact with a line drive plane through extension. Stays balanced and behind contact throughout while utilizing a gap to gap approach. Flashed the barrel skills to work to all fields and consistently repeated barrel plane to contact. Very good student. Named to the 2017 Rocky Mountain Showcase Top Prospect List.
