Kyren Power is a 2020 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Plainfield, IN who attends Avon. Large and strong frame with well-proportioned strength throughout his build. Ran a 7.16 second 60 yard dash. Primary first baseman, worked out with low effort actions at first base, throws from a compact arm action and can release from multiple slots with accuracy, young footwork around the bag with good body control and room for improvement. Secondary lefthanded pitcher, hides the baseball through the back coming from a compact arm action up to a low 3/4 arm slot mostly, varied arm angles for additional deception, fastball topped out at 80 mph with good life to armside, mixed in a curveball with depth and developing spin. Righthanded hitter, sets up with an even stance at the plate, takes a long stride into swing, longer swing with plenty of strength when squared, present bat speed with plenty of pop off of the barrel, tools to work with and room to improve with proper refinement. Named to 2019 Great Lakes Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
