Gavin Rhoads is a 2018 OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Seven Lakes HS. Has a large frame, athletic build, and room to continue to put on additional muscle. Posted a 6.99 second sixty yard dash. From the outfield, has long arm action in throws while flashing arm strength up to 80 mph. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a squared stance. Uses a simple approach at the plate, showed good bat speed and strength off the barrel. Displayed strong hands with power projection down the road as he continues to develop. Excellent student.
