Carson Mirike is a 2024 RHP/1B/3B with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Prosper, TX who attends Prosper. Medium slender build with some length and plenty of room to fill out as he progresses. Primary right handed pitcher, has a short arm action from a high three-quarters to over the top arm slot. Comes set with low hands near his waist then closes his front side slightly as he lifts and separates. Some violence to his drop and drive actions down the hill and his 69-73 mph fastball possesses some sink when located down in the zone. Mixes in both a 12-to-6 shaped curveball as well as a 65 mph straight change. Mixes well and keeps hitters off balance. In the infield, covers ground into the hole and up the middle with long strides. Glove work will develop alongside his arm strength and build. At the plate, uses an upright stance with a high leg kick trigger. Some length to his stroke with solid extension into his finish. Middle to pull side approach with an understanding of his swing. Good student in the classroom as well.
