Cade Westerlund is a 2021 C/RHP/OF with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Chandler, AZ who attends Mountain Pointe HS. Big and strong athletic build, especially in the lower half. 7.71 runner, has lower half quickness behind the plate defensively, comes out of his crouch very well, quick hands, lots of arm strength, very accurate throws, 1.92 best pop time, high level defensive player. Right handed hitter, hits from an even stance with a big and deep barrel wrap load that creates length to his swing, power approach and swings with intent, has lots of raw power if he can get to hit often enough in games. Also pitched, high energy delivery with a compact arm action that hides the ball well, gets downhill with a fastball that topped out at 85 mph, only threw fastballs, reliever mentality and profile. Named to the National Underclass West Top Prospect List.
