Bryce Parish is a 2018 C/3B with a 6-1 225 lb. frame from Mount Olive, IL who attends Mt Olive HS. Medium frame, large build with some present strength. Right handed hitter, creates a deep hand load with a sligtly coiled top half. Rotational mechanics with an inside, downhill swing plane and mid-field approach. Shows strength in swing with pitches outer half when on time. Worked out defensively from behind the plate. Shows a taller, narrow set while receiving. Developing footwork on throws with two piece mechanics through transition. Efficient arm circle at separtion with an extended arm action. Throws were on line with second base, topped at 68 mph. Ran sixty yard dash in 7.64 seconds. Tools will continue to develop with maturity and fluidity. Good student as well.
