Henry Crocker is a 2019 C/MIF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Rancho Cucamonga, CA who attends Los Osos. Long limbs with a lean build. Frame projects to support additional size and strength. Primary catcher with a slightly taller stance while receiving the baseball. Gains ground while working out of crouch with quick footwork. Clean exchanges and released from a three-quarters slot. Throws produced accurate carry to the bag topping at 72 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 2.08. Also worked out from the infield showing clean footwork while rounding the baseball. Funnels the baseball from a lower position and worked through exchange with compact actions. Flashed solid range to each side with the ability to change arm slot. Topped at 75 miles per hour producing accurate carry to the bag. Right handed hitter with a crouched, slightly open stance and simple leg lift trigger. Coils hands slightly at load and worked to contact on a loose path. Generated an lifted barrel plane through extension and primarily looked to lift the baseball between the gaps. Very good student as well.
