Charles Rubendall is a 2019 SS/ with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Minneapolis, MN who attends DeLaSalle. Medium frame with a lean build. Frame projects to support additional size with strength. Ran a 7.06 sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop with clean footwork while rounding and surrounding the baseball. Funnels from a slightly deeper position and worked through exchange quickly. Flashed good range to each side with the ability to throw while on the run. Primarily released from a high three-quarters slot generating accurate carry to the bag at 82 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and simple leg lift trigger. Shifts into contact well with linear lower half actions. Showed good feel for the barrel and consistently worked to all fields on a slightly lifted plane through extension. Showed the ability to repeat swing plane while maintaining balance through finish. Good student as well.
