Manuel Guerrero is a 2019 LHP/OF with a 5-5 145 lb. frame from Odessa, TX who attends Permian HS. Guerrero has a young body with a lean build. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action. He has developing arm speed and has some stiffness to his arm action. Guerrero uses an inline directional delivery and opens his frontside early. He gets some cut action on his fastball and some sink. Guerrero also throws a 1/7 slurve with loose spin and developing shape. Keeping his frontside closed longer will help him spin the curveball better. Defensively he has solid actions to the baseball and moved to the baseball well. He showed some arm strength up to 79 MPH and made accurate throws. At the plate, Guerrero starts slightly closed stance and uses a foot lift trigger. He has a shorter swing path and has a line drive path. Very good student.
