Mason Peters is a 2017 OF/3B with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Draper, UT who attends Corner Canyon High School. Large frame, lean, slender build, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.04 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, short footwork to the ball, slower paced actions, and developing arm strength up to 77 mph. At the plate, started with a wide base, open stance, high hand set, low back elbow, slight hunch, and a quick toe tap timing mechanism. Inside out swing path with an opposite field approach. Spread at point of contact with a linear swing plane through the zone. Will continue to improve at the plate with additional strength, incorporation of lower half, and additional extension.
