David "Tripp" Horsey is a 2017 OF with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Springfield, MO who attends Glendale HS. Has a lean build, young frame, plenty of room to fill out physically as he continues to mature and put on additional muscle. Posted a 7.14 second sixty yard dash. From the outfield, has solid footwork to the baseball with developing actions. Showed compact arm action on throws with arm strength up to 82 MPH. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a wide base, open stance, and a leg lift trigger. Stays on an inside path with hands with consistent barrels, come hip coil into contact. Shows good strength while maintaining barrel control. Excellent student.
