Ethan Dobbins is a 2019 OF/3B/RHP with a 6-2 140 lb. frame from Fort Lauderdale, FL who attends Cardinal Gibbons HS. Dobbins has a medium sized frame with long limbs and a projectable build. Defensively he has developing footwork to the baseball with developing outfield actions. Dobbins throws with a long arm action with developing arm strength up to 66 MPH. At the plate, Dobbins starts with a wide base with a very closed stance. He has a big hitch at load and swings uphill. Dobbins has developing bat speed and has limited use of his lower half. There's more bat speed and barrel skills there with an adjustment to his set up. Dobbins pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. He uses slight drop and drive mechanics and lands online. Excellent student.
