William Hockman is a 2020 2B/RHP/OF with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends Etowah HS. Slender young athletic build, broad shoulders, lots of room and time to get stronger. 7.56 runner, has good footwork in the infield and athletic actions at the ball, quick release on his throws, has the skills for second base. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a good lower half shift into contact, very short swing path with tight hands, has hand quickness and some beginning bat speed, hard line drive pull contact when squared up, has hitting tools to develop. Also pitched, cross body delivery with some backside collapse, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 77 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side run. Curveball showed good depth when he's out front at release, developing change up. Worked to the bottom of the zone well and mixed his pitches. Good student.
