Sean Heery is a 2018 RHP/3B/MIF with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Lehighton, PA who attends Lehighton Area HS. Very slender young build, minimal present strength. Big rocker step delivery, gathers well, bit cross body on his release, front side tends to open early leaving his arm behind, extended 3/4's release point. Low 3/4's arm slot, topped out at 74 mph, has been up to 77 mph recently at PG events, mostly straight with occasional arm side running action, throws strikes with his fastball and challenges hitters. Big sweeping curveball with an early break, maintained his arm speed well and threw his curveball for strikes. Tends to guide his change up. Keeps hitters off balance and has some ability to pitch and miss barrels. Good student.
