2016 Spring Top Prospect Showcase
Cade Warren is a 2016 RHP/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Rosebud, MT who attends Custer Co District HS. Medium athletic build with some present wiry strength. Two-way prospect. Quick tempo delivery with a compact arm in back, arm is fast coming through, will vary arm slot between high and mid 3/4's. Fastball up to 88 mph from higher slot, gets better life at lower velocities down lower. Showed a tight slider with good bite to it and some feel for his change up. 7.10 runner, charges the ball very aggressively in the outfield and has athletic footwork and balance, throws have very good carry from a low 3/4's arm slot. Right handed hitter with an open stance, gets to his front side early with a quick and short swing and some bat speed. Good student, signed with Salt Lake City CC.
