Tanner Lohaus is a 2016 RHP/ with a 6-7 205 lb. frame from Hiawatha, IA who attends Mount Mercy. Tall projectable build with present strength and athleticism. Primary Right handed pitcher. Employs a simple side step into a belt high leg lift staying slightly flexed at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound landing closed off creating crossfire actions in the delivery. Showed a medium loose arm action moving into an extended low three-quarter arm slot at release. Flashed a fastball with cut from the crossfire delivery and good control topping out at 88 miles per hour complemented by a tight slider with good lateral movement thrown for strikes consistently at 76 miles per hour. Showed the ability to throw both pitches for a strike in any count consistently keeping batters off balance through his two innings of work. Named to the 2019 National Pre-Draft Showcase Top Prospect List.
