Alec Flemetakis is a 2017 SS/RHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Hurricane, UT who attends Hurricane HS. Flemetakis has lean build with room to fill out and add strength. Hits from a slightly open stance with a spread base. Drifts into swing with a line drive swing plane, hits ball where it is pitched. Shows lift in swing, consistently barreled up and got to his front side with solid lower half drive. Defensively, smooth actions and hands, is light on feet with a compact arm action. hands and actions are solid all around, good lateral movement. Also pitched, low effort delivery with an extend 3/4 slot. Fastball showed late hard run on fastball. Good command. mixed in curveball that showed 11/5 shape and is developing and threw a rare straight change. Excellent Student. Named to Top Prospect list at West Coast Top.
