Jacob Grzebinski is a 2017 LHP/OF with a 6-4 203 lb. frame from Bellaire, TX who attends The Emery Weiner School. Large frame with strong athletic build and sturdy lower half. Slight pause at apex of delivery, stays tall on the backside and uses lower half well in delivery, stays online and direct. Loose, fluid arm-action, works to a high 3/4's arm slot. Good downhill plane on fastball, up to 83 mph, shows good life and solid command of the pitch. Flashes solid feel for curveball, can get on side of pitch at times but has solid depth and tighter rotation. Throws strikes with both pitches and has some deception in delivery. Also plays outfield, switch hitter with a bit more fluidity and rhythm from the right side. Flashes some hard pull contact with power potential, strength shows up in bursts with some carry off of the barrel. Solid hitting tools when on time and balanced. Very good student.
