Aaron Clark is a 2017 3B/RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cy-Fair HS. Medium broad shouldered build, plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, straight stance with a leg lift trigger, leans forward during swing, hits out front with a mid-field approach, tends to cast his hands out away from his body early, handled the barrel well. Fields the ball out front well at third base, low arm slot, makes accurate throws, tends to stop to throw and lose momentum and valuable time. Also pitched, drop and drive mechanics with a mid 3/4's arm slot, long extended arm action, stays directional and balanced well. Mid-70's fastball with some tailing action, soft curveball with a sweeping break, looked to spot the ball and tried to stay down in the zone. Good student.
