RJ Galvez is a 2018 SS/RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Harris, MN who attends Cretin Derham Hall High School. Medium build and frame with present athleticism and room to fill out. Posted a 7.80 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, showed a long arm action with young, developmental infield actions. At the plate, started with an open base with a leg lift timing mechanism and deep load. Fires hips with intent to drive the ball with an inconsistent plane that will flash a positive launch angle. Approach geared towards the opposite field and up the middle with raw bat speed. Very good student.
