Bryan Radford is a 2017 1B/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Stockbridge, GA who attends Stockbridge HS. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean and projectable build with additional room to fill out throughout body moving forward. Primary first baseman, short steps and footwork coming off the bag, extra step at release leading into short arm action across the diamond from a lower arm slot, gets on top of throws and shows accuracy across the diamond to intended base, arm strength will continue to develop. Righthanded batter, begins with a balanced stance in the box and a lower hand set close to body to start. Stays inside the ball well through swing, simple swing mechanics and shows ability to go with the pitch. Contact approach and works to the opposite field, will continue to develop with extension out front in swing. Good student.
