Liam Dvorak is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Bayport, NY who attends Chaminade High School. Medium frame with athletic build and room to continue to develop. Posted an impressive 5.26 40 yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher working from a high three-quarter arm slot showed a quick arm with a full arm action. Threw on-line and got downhill with explosive fastball that showed good running life and occasional sinking action between 83-86 mph. Showed 12-6 shaped curveball with some depth at 68 mph and mixed in a deceptive changeup with sink at 77 mph. A primary pitcher that also worked out from the outfield, showed a quick arm and got on top of throws well with impressive arm strength and a top velocity of 90 mph. At the plate, started slightly open with a spread base and good weight transfer through contact. Impressive bat speed with an up the middle approach that generates consistent hard line drives. Exceptional student. Named to Top Prospect List.
