Gabriel Skoro is a 2017 OF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Portland, OR who attends Lincoln HS. Medium-large frame with slender athleticism throughout body; good projectable room to fill remaining on frame. Ran very well, posting a 6.82 seconds 60 yard dash time. Very quick hands when hitting, sells out for power and drops back shoulder at times, has loft in swing, shows good bat speed with very good overall contact ability. Squared stance to the plate, pull field approach. Gets hands going early and is well-timed through swing. Worked out defensively in the outfield. Moves to ball well with solid footwork, can get off balance when trying to work through when fielding. Throws downhill from extended three quarters slot. Arm is loose and projectable. OF velocity topped at 79 MPH. Named to 2015 Northwest Showcase Top Prospect List. Very good student.
