Brandon Fender is a 2017 SS/ with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from St Charles, IL who attends Bartlett HS. Medium frame, athletic build, clear sign of preset strength. Ran a 7.02 60-yard dash. From shortstop, developing actions, plays the ball deep, gets good direction through the baseball, short quick over the top arm action. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a squared stance. Small load, full swing, good balance, developing extension and lower half, has strength in swing, flashed hard pull side contact, has projection. Good student.
