Kyle Luckham is a 2018 RHP/3B/1B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Fullerton, CA who attends El Dorado HS. Luckham has a long lean build with room to fill out and add strength. Primary pitcher, up to 86 with fastball, uses high leg lift, gets coiled well and creates torque in mid section and over back leg. has quick arm action with a long arm circle in back. Gets on top of ball and works down hill. Repeats delivery with a high 3/4 to over the top release point. Fastball to glove side had good run and sink while working glove side was more straight. Had swing and misses. Mixed in change up at 74 with good run and sink. Curveball had 11/5 shape with sharp break and good depth. Slider broke out of hand and sweeping action. Hit from a square stance, line drive swing plane with good hand path. Aggressive approach with solid contact and flashed power potential. Defensively, quick feet and actions, had clean transfer and release was quick. Moved well. Showed two way potential. Named to The West Coast Underclass Top Prospect List. Good Student.
