Chase Moseley is a 2019 OF with a 5-6 150 lb. frame from Long Grove, IA who attends North Scott HS. Medium, athletic frame with young, slender present build; good projection overall remaining on body. Sets up to hit from spread-out stance with good balance, slightly open front foot but closes off hip well into swing. Shifts weight well in lower half and swings the bat hard with intent, compact hand path to and through the hitting zone, line drive swing plane with solid barrel quickness. Stays committed to the middle of the field through hitting approach. Worked out defensively in the outfield, stays low and moves quickly to the ball with good footwork, fields cleanly out front with good hand and glove actions. Works through well into crow hop, gets off quickened release with arm strength clocked up to 76 MPH. Good student.
