Zach Silberman is a 2018 OF/ with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Orange, CA who attends Villa Park. Large, highly projectable frame with good athleticism and solid present build. Posted a 7.02 seconds 60 yard dash time. Hits from very wide, spread out stance with big leg lift trigger. Minimal shift into contact, shows some barrel control with ability to hit the ball to all fields. Can elevate the ball and will drive it more with additional strength gains and utilization of lower half into swing. Worked out defensively both in the infield and outfield. Sits back on the ball in the IF, fields cleanly at the ball and gathers well, making accurate throws across up to 71 MPH. Moves to ball well in the OF, shows some feel for working through the ball and gathers cleanly. Longer, extended arm action with OF velocity up to 75 MPH. Outstanding student.
