Andrew Williams is a 2019 RHP/1B with a 5-11 152 lb. frame from Rock Hill, SC who attends South Pointe High School. Young player with a medium frame and a tall, lean frame that has room to fill out. Utilized a high three quarter arm slot, short arm action and a compact delivery. Lands slightly closed, tight release. Would benefit from repeating delivery and incorporating lower half more. Fastball topped out at 72 with natural sinking action and flashed feel for a changeup. Pitches to contact. At the plate, used a slightly open stance with a toe tap timing mechanism. Inside swing path with an opposite field, contact oriented approach. Should continue to develop with added strength. Good student.
