Andrew Marra is a 2018 OF/ with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Barrington, RI who attends Barrington High School. Extra-large frame, strength present, highly projectable, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically. Posted a 7.24 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, showed a short, compact arm action, worked well through the ball, good accuracy to the bag, and arm strength up to 87 mph. At the plate, started with a slight crouch in stance, medium hand set, and utilized a leg lift timing mechanism. Line drive swing plane at times, showed very quick hands through the zone, and impressive bat speed. Swing worked longer at times and showed inconsistent plane through round. Improved timing would allow bat speed to work best to the ball. Good student.
