Christopher Mills is a 2019 SS/3B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Federal Way, WA who attends Bellarmine Prep. Medium, lean frame with wiry present strength and good room to continue filling out. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.93 seconds. Hits from stance that is squared to the plate, slight crouch in stance, solid hand-eye coordination and overall bat to ball skills. Doesn't fully utilize lower half in hitting mechanics. Upper body rotation turns the barrel into the hitting zone; shows ability to use entire field. Worked out defensively in the infield. Fields out in front well and shows overall clean actions that project well over the next several years. Transfers cleanly and stays on balance through gather and crow hop. Threw accurately across the IF to 1st base, IF velocity up to 67 MPH. Very good student.
