Brandon Drury is a 2018 OF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Osyka, MS who attends Parklane Academy. Medium frame with young, slender present build; good athleticism throughout body and will get stronger with maturity. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.58 seconds. Hits from even, straight stance with lower hand set, big leg kick trigger and gets momentum moving well into swing. Shows solid bat speed, will develop more strength off the barrel with physical maturation. Good overall contact skills, times it up well with consistency, line drive swing plane with solid contact to all fields. Worked out defensively in the outfield, shows good movements to the ball with solid approach to fielding. Fields cleanly out in front and works through it well, jumps vertically into crow hop and lands online to target. Low slot release, throws were accurate to target with arm strength topping out at 71 MPH. Very good student.
