Ty Delancey is a 2017 SS/3B/RHP with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Dallas, GA who attends East Paulding HS. Compact athletic build, has good present strength, mature look for his age. 7.26 runner, has quick feet in the infield and shows range, plays under control and makes accurate throws, second base tools and profile, also played the outfield well. Switch-hitter, gets a good load and coil from both sides and has bat speed from both sides, elbow stays a bit high from the left side but showed hand quickness and some power to the middle of the field, worked the middle of the field well from the right side as well and showed gap power, legit switch-hitter. Also pitched, compact over the top arm action, has good tempo to his delivery. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, occasional run and sink, throws fastball for strikes very well. Big breaking 11/5 curveball, gets nice fade on a circle change, has an idea how to pitch. Very good student.
