Tim Dillon is a 2017 MIF/RHP with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from East Hanover, NJ who attends Seton Hall Preparatory. Large, athletic frame with long limbs and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout frame. Ran a 5.49 40-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, fields the ball out front and hands play well at the ball, comes through the backhand well and shows athleticism to overall actions. Fluid movements with long strides up the middle, good arm strength from an extended and lower slot. Also pitched, works with a short and compact arm action in the back and uses a low three-quarters release point, generates running life to fastball and topped out at 75 mph. Filled the zone and flashed a slider. Righthanded hitter, begins with a slightly open stance with a hand set close to body. Small leg lift trigger for timing, balanced through swing and lets the ball travel, shows solid contact off the barrel when squared with line drive contact coming off. Excellent student.
