Patrick Hope is a 2017 1B/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Sandy Springs, GA who attends Riverwood HS. Strong athletic build with room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, leans back in his swing with limited shift to contact, uphill swing plane with some pull and lift ability, fires his hands well and creates back speed, gets carry to all fields when he squares the ball up, has hitting tools that can improve with adjustments. Has athletic actions a first base defensively, makes accurate throws and can throw on the run, tends to field the ball deep into his body. Bat is an interesting tool. Very good student.
