Corbin Watson is a 2016 MIF/ with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Reidsville, NC who attends John M Morehead. Medium frame with lean, athletic build at present with good room to continue filling out frame. Ran 7.40 seconds in 60 yard dash. Hits from small base, toe tap trigger, hands set close to body with medium height. Shows good extension through contact with excellent bat speed, legitimate gap to gap power at present with more HR power coming with additional strength gains. Swing plane is ideal for power in future. Worked out defensively in the infield, showing well there. Surrounds the ball well and funnels it into soft, quality hands; transfers cleanly and shows balance through crow hop, clean release with solid arm strength up to 81 MPH on throws across the diamond. Named to 2015 Atlantic Coast Top Showcase Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
