Mason Vaughan is a 2018 3B/SS, 2B, 1B, RHP with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Endicott, NY who attends Seton Catholic Central. Large, well-built frame with good strength throughout body to go along with solid projection remaining. Posted a 7.65 seconds 60 yard dash time. Hits with deep land load to slight barred start, made consistent contact to pull and middle fields, could stand to better shift backside into contact, high finish on swing with mostly line drive plane. Good first step defensively in the infield, solid range to both sides, fields cleanly, transfers quickly and cleanly from glove to hand, shows good ability to throw from multiple arm angles as well as on the run, gets good carry on throws with IF velocity topping out at 73 MPH to 1B. Good student.
