Sean Del Gallo is a 2016 1B/OF with a 6-0 178 lb. frame from Avon, CT who attends Avon HS. Medium, athletic frame with present strength on frame and a lean, projectable build with some room to fill out. Ran a 7.12 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball out front with a wide base, nice reactions off the bat and moves well off the bag with athleticism, quick transfer into a short arm action with a clean and easy release, arm strength will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, starts with a high hand set and uses a small leg lift trigger for timing. Upper body swing, short path to the ball with a line drive swing plane. Keeps hands in through zone and stays inside, balanced swing with an aggressive approach. Creates line drive contact with comfort hitting to pull side. Good student.
