Cameron Valle is a 2016 OF/RHP/C with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Garland, TX who attends Naaman Forest HS. Medium, athletic build, sloped shoulders with present strength throughout frame. Sound runner, posted a 6.87 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, short steps to the ball and remains low through fielding, full arm action coming through and does a nice job of getting on top of the ball, comes out clean and shows present strength and carry while projecting for more with incorporation of lower half. Short and tight release from behind the plate, receives out front, taller at release, shows carry and nice strength to throws. ALso pitched, works from a high three-quarter arm slot, small side step into delivery with small leg raise and hides ball behind hip well. Compact arm actin, ran fastball up to 82 mph and showed a 10-4 shaped curveball with some depth. Left-handed hitter, starts with an open stance and a high hand set and back elbow. Short swing path and uses hands well through swing showing quickness, toe tap trigger, gets the barrel through the zone and shows a nice feel for it. Aggressive approach in the box, direct to ball and shows comfort hitting to all fields. Present bat speed and projects well. Very good student.
