Gauntlett Eldemire is a 2007 OF with a 6'2'', 180 lb. frame from Shaker Heights OH, who attends University School HS. Eldemire has a taller body with a lean athletic build. He has a very good body with a projectable frame. Eldemeire has very good speed and showed it off by running a 6.70 sixty. Defensively, Eldemire moves to the baseball well in the outfield and has good range. Eldemire throws with a long arm action and has solid arm strength. He has carry on his throws and they were online. At the plate, he starts with a medium width base and starts his swing with a big high stride. He looks to keep his hands inside the baseball and gets his hands to the ball well. Eldemire has some length to his swing with raw bat speed. He has some looseness to his swing and projects to hit for power as he learns to swing with more balance.
