Omar Daniels is a 2019 SS/2B, RHP with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends George Walton Academy. Small and athletic frame. Ran a 6.71 second 60 yard dash who showed aggressive base running in game. Primary shortstop, waits back on the baseball showing good fielding actions all around, hands work pretty well, quick exchange from glove to hand, low arm angle throws that are accurate to the bag, average arm strength topping out at 81 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, sets up with a very narrow stance and a high hand set, short stride into contact, downhill swing plane, contact oriented swing with plenty of ground balls to the pull side during round, showed an aggressive approach in game, gets mistimed a bit at times with stride.
