Trevor Grapenthin is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends Mount Pisgah Christian. Medium, athletic frame with slender present build; good projection remaining on build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.02 seconds. Sets up to hit with high hands and back elbow, dips barrel on plane early and shows clean hand path. Positive launch angle out front, swing mechanics suggest good power potential with continued strength gains. Spray approach, shows good ability to work to all fields on a line. Showed pop in game by doubling loudly off the LF wall. Worked out defensively in the infield, shows good smoothness through footwork in move to the ball, fielded cleanly and made smooth transfers. Made quality throws across the diamond clocked up to 78 MPH with good projection remaining on arm strength. Very good student.
