Jordan Goldstein is a 2021 3B/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Dix Hills, NY who attends Half Hollow Hills West HS. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.36 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball with a wide base, extra step moving into release, picked the ball well in the infield, effort on throws across from a shorter arm stroke, overall footwork will continue to develop. Also pitched, compact delivery and stays on line towards the plate, shorter arm stroke leading to a high three-quarters release point. Ball comes out clean and topped out at 79 mph, shows life to the arm side when locating down in the zone. Filled the zone and incorporated lower half well, flashed changeup at 68 mph; fielded position well. Righthanded hitter, begins with a square stance in the box, slightly open base; uses lower half well in shift. Tight hands through swing, stays short to the ball and gets the barrel through the zone. Occasionally gets to front side early, shows carry off the barrel when squared to the middle and pull side parts of the field with separation in swing. Very good student.
