2015 Mid Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Connor Coursey is a 2017 MIF/3B, OF with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Silver Spring, MD who attends Our Lady Of Good Counsel. Coursey has a lean build with room to fill out. Hits from a square stance, shows strength in swing. Uses a small leg lift trigger to load up, line drive wing plane. Gets good weight transfer through ball. Has feel for barrel, does good job keeping hands inside baseball. Made consistent contact that should develop into harder contact as he gains strength. Defensively, fields ball out front, works around ball well. Showed good quickness in release and arm. Good student.
